We have arrived!!

We made it St Louis and we are starting to settle in. It's going to take a while though with all the travel we have this summer. The boxes are almost unpacked, but lots of things are not where they are going to be permanently. Decorating is going to have to wait until after we remove the wallpaper and paint the main floor. The kids are doing great. Jackie knocked on every door in the neighborhood within the first 2 days and introduced herself to all the neighbors. Haha. John has already started hanging out with the kids in our ward and has a group of friends. He's actually having a party at our house tonight! Justin is a little slower finding his tribe, but he loves the chess center and would go hang out there every day if he could.

Cat in a hotel room. Poor cat! he did so well though traveling. He did NOT like spending 3 days in a crate! Every day it got a little harder to shove him inside. He survived and is loving all the new wildlife outside.

Traveling across the southern plains. I thought this country was beautiful! Maybe that's because it hasn't been taken over by cornfields yet, but I really liked it.

Jackie and I had the Acura to ourselves. None of the boys wanted to be in the car that also had the dog and cat. Kensie was a fantastic traveller. I actually wouldn't mind taking her on more road trips.

Crossed through Texas for the first time.

Found Kellyville!!

Welcome to Missouri! Almost there!

View down the street from our driveway. I love how green it is! I've missed that. I swear there are houses in there somewhere.

Our new house!

Everyone was very tired after all that.

Bunnies in the yard!

Storm coming in. I love watching those!

We had our first trip of the summer already.  This time it was hosting a Summer Regional Meeting in San Antonio Texas. The weather behaved itself for us and we had a great time. I dragged the family to the Alamo because you can't go to San Antonio and not see it's most famous landmark! In case you were wondering, this is where Davy Crockett met his end. Only 12 people survived the battle, mostly women and children.

I've been trying to take a video of this, but it's so hard. We have fireflies!! It's so cool to watch them come out at night and start blinking. I love it.

We leave day after tomorrow for our next SRM in Georgia. We opted to drive this time and see some of the countryside. We're going to go right past Great Smokey Mountains National park, so it should be pretty.
