Memorial Day

We spent Memorial Day with some friends of ours. They live out on the Applegate river. We all had a wonderful time. The kids especially. They got to go swimming in the swimming hole (yes it was absolutely freezing, but they loved it!), fishing in the pond, and feed the cows. and of course all the running around that their hearts desired. We had a wonderful BBQ. Jackie got a wonderful treat. Most of us had soda or strawberry lemonade to drink, but Jackie wanted milk. So she got some milk fresh from the cow. She thought it was delicious. And we had slices of homemade feta cheese. Yum!!! Michelle gets them from her neighbor in exchange for allowing them to pasture the cows on her land.

On an unrelated, but disturbing note,    today I found Zelda in the washing machine with the door closed. (the door does not close by itself) Poor kitty!!!   Jackie is a little toad!  Fortunately she can't turn it on yet.
